The Link service is not a replacement for an ambulance. If you declines an ambulance, you will need to take a taxi to hospital

Patients are kindly asked to make a contribution towards the costs involved by placing the amount requested in the Medical Centre link envelope which the driver will provide.

Contributions requested to are currently £15 for hospitals in Worthing, Southlands, Brighton and Haywards Heath, £4 for Henfield Medical Centre and Henfield dentists, and appropriate amounts for other locations and longer journeys.

The Link is run independently but has the support of the Medical Centre. The coordinators operate from their own homes and organise volunteer drivers for each request. Please tell the coordinator if you would like to bring a companion or a walking frame with you, or if you need a wheelchair. Also if you have a blue disabled badge, please bring it with you.
